The works in this fourth iteration of SPANE: ‘Threshold’, draws reference to Hannah Arendt’s notion of the ‘overwhelming elementary force’ of nature and the desire/need of humans to be estranged from such a power. The works in this screening present performative acts that push and destabilize the borders of this estrangement.
